Do you mean start teaching or learning, I am confused. Assuming that you are asking that what age one can start learning, I would say around 3 to start with something like Kodaly. 5 to 6 is good for starting with instruments like the piano.
Wonder if Aanya will learn any music at all. She might be so sick of both of our intense interest in music! God save me! :D
